Our Mission Statement:
“to provide a patient-centered service backed by experience, passion and purpose”
City & Hackney Urgent Healthcare Social Enterprise is a Community Benefit Society set up to provide urgent healthcare to the local community. We have no shareholders and our not-for-dividend constitution means that any surpluses are re-invested in the service.
Our locally-focused, high-quality out of hours (OOH) service began in December 2013. Our main Primary Care Centre is at Homerton Hospital.

CHUHSE Annual Members Meeting
The Board of CHUHSE have now received their audited accounts for the year 2015/16. They were approved at the Audit Committee held in November. The meeting noted the generally positive trends for the period and noted the fact that the society (CHUHSE is a Community Benefit Society and registered with the FCA) made a small surplus on the year. The auditors prepared the accounts on a going concern basis which assumes that the society will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The directors have assessed the financial position of the society and there are no material uncertainties that cast doubt on the societies ability to remain a going concern. The existing Out of Hours contract is to run to December 2017.
Under normal circumstances these would now be presented to an AMM for ratification and for filing with the FCA. Traditionally this has been a poorly attended event, so this year we are simply notifying stakeholders of the existence of this report as we think this is better way of reaching a wider audience than previous years.
